A lovely converted farm cottage with extensive views of Scottish Countryside, Cruachan is close to the gateway to the Isles Oban and is ideally located for touring the West Highlands and Islands.
Renovated & modernised, but still retaining its unique cottage charm, this property has two bedrooms (twin and a double) and sleeps 4.
The house has a large dinning kitchen area with wood-burning stove set into a fireplace of local Ballachullish Slate.
The property has a fully equipped kitchen with all integrated appliances. There is a washer dryer, microwave, Sky TV with DVD player, a CD radio cassette, and a large section of DVDs and books to enjoy during your stay.
From the living room there are patio doors leading to an extensive deck with garden furniture & a barbecue from which you enjoy alfresco dining, and expansive views of the surrounding countryside. Deer and other wildlife are frequently seen crossing the moor in front of the cottage.
The garden has a small stream running through. The cottage is located 10 minutes drive from Oban and there are shops and good quality restaurants nearby in Connel & Benderloch villages. There is a fantastically long beach a few minutes drive away, and excellent cycling, walking, bird watching and fishing in the area.
